Following the call for expressions of interest, five people contacted the Chair of BANZAT and answered several questions about their braille knowledge and qualifications to fill three vacancies on the trust. Representatives of the five founding bodies have appointed three people to fill the vacancies. They are Wendy Richards, Marion Satherley and Mary Schnackenberg. Their three-year terms conclude at the 2017 Annual General Meeting.
With the retirement of trustee Janet Reynolds, the Blind Foundation has appointed Karen Plimmer to complete Janet’s term until the 2015 Annual General Meeting.
Jenny McFadden has been reappointed to the trust by the Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ until the 2017 Annual General Meeting.
